Has been open for a little over a week. It has been doing pretty well, but we still have plenty more stuff to order. There should be lots of shoes and clothing coming soon. Tell your friends to start longboarding with us!

Painting non-stop!

17 January 2012

I have been painting almost all day the past week or two. I want to have a ton of rad stuff ready for my exhibit at DNA Galleries in OKC! I decided I want to start trying some new stuff with wood and other materials. I hope it turns out well. Here is a painting I just finished. Dig?

Time…

28 December 2011

Man, Christmas is already over and its almost 2012. Time goes by soooo fast! I have been working 52 hours every week at the tattoo shop. Slowly figuring out what I’m doing. haha. I have been doing a little painting when I have the time, but MW3 is kind of hard to resist sometimes. Maybe I should work on my priorities.

Attention Lurkers..

Jills Tattoo..

Just in case you were wondering that hers looked like.

Schedule..

09 December 2011

I have been super busy lately. Working at Modified Design is taking up a ton of my time. Totally worth it though. I got to give Jill her first tattoo yesterday. I need to balance my time so I can get more painting done though. The skates should be opening soon and that will probably take even more time away. I better make a million dollars soon.

On The Road..

30 November 2011

I’m heading to Columbus GA with Jills family to see Carson graduate from basic training. I’m not really looking forward to the ceremony. I can already see seats full of parents crying and mumbling how proud they are. I personally don’t think its a big deal to join. I mean, I applaud you for your physical toughness, but other than that it just seems dumb to me.

Anyway, I have had some neat idea for art stuff and I’m hoping to get them in the works soon. I keep switching between painting ideas and tattoo ideas. I’m getting worried that the two might end up mixing and my painting style won’t be as fun. Haha. I have a show at DNA Galleries in February with another guy (I forget his name :( ) and it has me pretty nervous. I have seen a bunch of works from artists they have featured and I don’t feel like I’m on that level at all. I plan on working on some super rad stuff and not showing anyone until the opening of the show. If you get a chance to swing by The Plaza District on OKC, do it.

November is almost over..

23 November 2011

I am aware that I don’t post stuff much on here. Mostly because I don’t know if anyone checks this. My apprenticeship is taking up a ton of my time and energy. On the the plus side, I have done a couple of practice tattoos and I am already loving it! My time to paint is slim to none, but I am going to try and crank out as many as I can. I have been asked to do a few as Christmas gifts. Money in da bank. I am hoping to get some of my own ideas on canvas soon. I owe my friend Ethan one as a trade for a sweet painting he did. Do yourselves a favor and check out artworks by Ethan Prus. Good good stuff.
